Little Jon Memorial Park on Deadwood Avenue North in Rapid City is a labor of love for Alvin and Jean Howe. The couple started the park in memory of their 9-year-old grandson Jonathan James Howe, who died in a golf cart accident six years ago on Aug. 1, 2003.

Lost dog found 9 years on, 1,200 miles away

New Excuse for Students: The Kindle Ate My Homework

Shoot, when I was a kid, the best I could get away with in terms of something similar to this was “the dog ate my homework.” In this case, a lawsuit has been filed after the well-publicized e-book deletion fiasco that ending up remotely deleting legitimately purchased e-books from users’ Kindles.
