Little Jon Memorial Park on Deadwood Avenue North in Rapid City is a labor of love for Alvin and Jean Howe. The couple started the park in memory of their 9-year-old grandson Jonathan James Howe, who died in a golf cart accident six years ago on Aug. 1, 2003.
