any river fishers here??

i set bank lines every year while the fish are spawning…this year is terrible…flood after flood after flood…but the flathead still have there eggs so it may be okay…anyone else having the same trouble??(problem is…usually they are done spawning by july at the latest…this year they havent even started….usually we catch at least a 50lb flathead…this year only a 20)

We’re having the exact opposite problem here in North Texas. Not enough rain to bring the river up to catch the bigger cats. We just started getting some rain for the last 2 weeks for the whole summer. The river has been too low to fish with any success. It totally screwed up the white bass spawn, but now we can go chase the the channel cats and flatheads in a week.
