Hi I live in the uk is there any pike fishing in the US?
I think the uk record is about the mid 40lb mark if you do have pike how big (no anglers about the one that got away)look forward to some stories.
Yes pike fishing is live and well in the US, even in the Southwestern states. In New Mexico where I live the state record is 36# 53″ long Nortern Pike. BTW this is a 29 yr. old record.

We also have some very large bass here with a new smallmouth record of 7.3# and largemouth of 15.13#, walleys over 16# and striped bass over 54#. Light Fishing pressure on our lakes makes this a great state to try for a new state record with most species.
